Windjana Gorge



There isn't any better outback trip compared to the one to Windjana gorge inside the Kimberley region. It's the best spot nationwide to watch fresh water crocodiles in the wild and it has an excellent campsite near to the gorge walls. Hardly any tourists spend the night there, if you do so, head out early in the morning to get a great view of the crocodiles coming out of the lake to sunbathe alongside a pool.



Nitmiluk National Park



Based in the Northern Territory, this offbeat location is home to a lot of Kangaroos and that too in close proximity. There's only one camping ground with basic facilities, that's rarely full, presenting a relaxing holiday in the lap of nature.



Rottnest Island



This can be a great start to your vacation plans. Just take a boat to the breathtaking Rottnest island with amazing beaches, pristine rich waters and excellent marine life. This is a great place to unwind and loosen up.
