Tinnitus.net Update on Medications That Can Cause Tinnitus

Tinnitus.net Update on Medications That Can Cause TinnitusIn the latest update from Tinnitus.net, there are now well over 200 prescriptions and over the counter medications that can cause tinnitus or make your existing symptoms even worse than they already are. The update can be found at https://www.tinnitus.net/medications-that-can-cause-tinnitus/. As is to be expected with OTC medications, the higher the dosage, the worse the effects are on your tinnitus. New research shows that removing the medications and prescriptions can sometimes eliminate the tinnitus, especially pulsatile tinnitus, but that's not always the case. Some of the more common prescriptions on the list include antibiotics, chemotherapy medications, diuretics, quinine and chloroquine, antidepressants, blood pressure medicines, NSAIDs and man-made food additives such as NutraSweet.
